About Me

My photo
ai
I grew up in Southern Oregon and spent the entire summer of my eighth year living in a tent while helping my dad build an addition to our home. The fifth of seven children, I’m a pretty even split between my parents both physically and personality-wise. I have my dad’s intense love and complete absorption in the outdoors, power tools, and making little children giggle as well as his very pink complexion. My mom gave me her “freakishly high cheekbones,” handwriting, & laugh; and just like her, I give major points for cleverness and quick wit… …Whether by nature or nurture, I have my dad’s introversion of things that are important enough to hurt and my mom’s extraversion of nearly everything else that passes through my mind. I’m an ENTP personality type (with not as strong of a tendency on the “E” as you might think). I think a friend accurately described me when she told me that I was the only “optimistic cynic” she’d ever met. I have a constant monologue running through my head and I laugh at inappropriate times. My sincere prayer nearly every day is something akin to, “ Dear Lord, please keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth.”
